Planning - Shot List by George Taylor

Planning - StoryBoard

This is Joe’s room, the typical style of a teenager’s room. This is where the opening of the feature film will take place and from there we will dim the lighting to show that it is in the morning of a school day. The shots we will include are: Master Shot, Medium Close Up and more.
This shot is representing Joe walking down the stairs at his home. This shot is just to give the image of what it will look like; a shot of his feet coming down the stairs.
This shot is to show Joe walking to school rather fast as he is late. For this shot we will have a tracking shot to show Joe’s movement as he is trying to get to school quickly.
This is a close up of Joe in the class environment, using this shot will show us  a part of how Joe lives his day to day life, and then after this we will then introduce the character Mickey, who’s best friends with Joe.
After we see the Joe writing in his book we will then introduce the character of Mickey, Joe’s best friend, so that later on in the intro you’ll recognise him. Also, whilst you see a shot similar to this Toby will be narrating, and indicating that this is Mickey.
This is a shot showing everyone that Mickey and Joe are having a conversation on the phone on their way home from school. This is will take place next to a quiet road and then we will film Joe walking into the middle of the road and then it will cut to Mickey on the phone and we will then hear the sound of the crash through the phone. After, you will hear Mickey yelling Joe’s name as we fade into the white room scene, whilst the voice of Mickey fades out.

This is going to be the room that Joe will wake up in, we plan to cover the room with white sheets and dim lighting to represent that he is not living and that it is in the after life. In this scene Joe and a an anonymous character will exchange dialog.
