For This 9 frame, the rows go in order. Row 1: 1 - 3, Row 2: 4 - 6, Row 3: 7 - 9
Frame 1:
For this film, there are no titles. However the film starts off with the Warner Bros logo (distributors and Production). It is in a black and white screen at this point which could be used to show the audience that the following film could be dark. Normally the Warner Brothers title is in colour (Blue sky with white clouds and a golden logo) but personally I feel that the black and white filter on the screen works better.
Frame 2:
The second frame starts with images from the DC universe (super heroes/villains) and it pulls out and has a comic book animation to it. The whole purpose of having the DC comics at the beginning is because they were apart of the production and also it is the brand that Batman originates from.
Frame 3:
In the third frame, we see some animation of bat's which fly around and eventually form the batman logo, this would be used to get the audience excited and interested as they want to see more than just bats flying around on the screen.
Frame 4:
In the frame, we see two young children playing hide and seek. The camera moves with them (moves more with Bruce) which would suggest that these two characters will be significantly important to the rest of the film.
Frame 5:
In this frame there is a close up of the Bruce to show that he is hiding from his friend, Rachael. This shows how close that the two friends are.

Frame 6:
When we see Bruce fall down the well we immediate realise that this introduction of how Bruce became to dislike bat's and how he might use it against people in the future.
Frame 7:
When we see this dark gloomy cave, it adds a mystery to what might be further into this cave, this is pretty crucial as it is a big part of a tense build up.

Frame 8:
The mystery as to what is in the cave is revealed when a swarm of bats fly out of the cave and fly up and out of the well that we just saw Bruce fall down.
Frame 9:
There is a sudden cut to a man laying on a bed, we assume that this is Bruce in modern time as he jumps a bit when he wakes up. This shows that it was a dream on something that has once happened to him.

Frame 1:
When looking closely at the films (Batman and "Alive") as a group we decided that we would use 2 company like names to open up our main task. We have used "CTMG" in this case as it is the production company.
Frame 2:
"Wolfblade XV" is our distributors. This is the exact same order as Batman Begins (Warner Brothers is apart of the production and Distribution).
Frame 3:
From after the distribution logo we then went for a more modern "superhero" genre film "Kickass". We have used the same title sequence as it to make it clear that as a group we have acknowledged to order of the titles.
Frame 4:
However like in batman, we use flash backs in the introduction (batman starts off with a flash back of Bruce as a child). And we thought that it would be good a bit of a mix and match of Kickass and batman as batman hasn't got any titles but the way it's set out is good and the beginning to Kickass isn't great but has good titles.
Frame 5:
Unlike Batman, Our film uses a lot more of a cut away during our introduction and we see less of it in the batman introduction as we don't see Bruce as a grown up until we have seen him wake up from his dream.
Frame 6:
In this frame we show Joey's friend, "Mickey". We see him on the phone to Joey's character and during this phone call Joey is giving a voice over on how he personally feels about his experiences with his powers.
Frame 7:
We see slight build up when joey is talking to the camera, we continue to cut away from the recorded diary entry and what happened as in my opinion it builds up an atmosphere, where as with batman it shows the entire flashback and then cuts away to modern time.
Frame 8:
In the frame, Joey ends his speech by saying "my name is Joe Brasinski" this is shortly followed by the sound of car tires screeching and a quick fade to black, this is a good way to let the audience know that this is something that has once happened instead of showing the character being younger and then showing them when they're grown up.
Frame 9:
The use of the title being shown here is so that the audience know a bit of the story and may answer any enigmas later on in the film. With the batman introduction however they use iconography (the swarm of bats) to use as their title, as it is something its something that fans can identify as a type of logo.

2.)How does your media product represent particular social groups?
3.) What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
This is a link to my YouTube video which includes myself giving a voice over on who could distribute our film, who could produce our film and who could fund our film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkzP6fFMDNw&feature=youtu.be
4.) Who would be the audience for your media product?

Name : Max Saddleton
Age : 19
Hobbies: Reading graphic novels, watching super hero films, attending Comic-con
About Max: Max is an young adult who is currently in his second year of university. Max likes to read graphic novels and if possible watch the film version after so he can then decide which one is better. So far his favorite graphic novels are "V for vendetta" by Alan Moore and all of the batman Graphic Novels. The reason that Max would like a film like this is that it is a different approach to the stereotypical super hero and villain and the film uses a super power that is commonly used, however the way the power is shown is completely different to most films as it is more formal and is set out like some sort of video diary. Max also loves the film "Fight Club" and knows the majority of the lines in the film, a reason why he might like this film is that they both end up breaking the fourth wall, meaning they engage with the audience on a more personal level and making the film far more engaging than most other films. He has also been to comic con in 2014 and attended a speech/talk that was given by Stan Lee who has had a huge impact on the superhero based stories in the comic book industry.
5.) How did you attract/address your audience?
One way I tried to attract an audience is to post the link of the film introduction onto my twitter account, by doing this it allows any followers to click on the link and to watch the Video, I introduced the video in an informal way as I thought that by doing this it would be a way that perhaps Joe would act or be online.
Here is a link to my annotated video of how I addressed/attracted my audience:

6.) What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
A 9 Frame showing the technology that I have used in the main task. The Numbers go from left to right, 1 and 8 being the very top and the bottom left. The rest go from left to right.
This is a nine frame to show what technology I have come across and used when making, filming or uploading clips for the main task's video, Alive.
1 and 8) This is a standard Panasonic HD camera. This would be used to record the footage that was used for the main task. The camera is simple to use as it has a flip out screen and it also has a visible buttons on the side and are labelled rather simply and it is covered by the flip out screen.
2) This is a memory stick, this isn't the exact one that was used however it is still the type of the technology that was used. The exact memory stick that I used was a TDK 16GB memory stick. By using this I have learnt how to copy and paste different files over from one computer to another.
3) This is a tripod in which we used was used to make some of our shots steady and less shaky when filming footage. When using the tripod for the first time I was a bit unclear on how it worked, once asking how it worked I leaned how to extend the legs out and how to raise/lower the tripod's head.
4) This is a pod-casting kit, it was going to be used originally in our rough cut however I didn't really feel that it was necessary in the end. However I leant that that it is rather simple to use and you can run it easily on a programme called "Audacity". The pod-casting kid was rather simple to use as you had to plug the USB into the computer tower, open Audacity and hit the record button.
5) This is a tower that stores all the data and any programmes on it's hard drive. This is what we used to upload any blog posts and it was a very crucial part of equipment and technology that we needed to use. It is very simple to use and was the main piece of equipment that was used throughout the Preliminary and Main Task.
6) This is a USB cable. This is used to connect the camera to the computer and therefore upload any videos to the computer and if the editor was going to edit some of the filming at home, he would copy and paste the footage onto his memory stick. Using the cable would mean that you can copy, paste and save any footage and data onto the computers hard drive or any memory stick.
7) This is a piece of software that I have on my Iphone, it's called "Voice Memo" and I used the app to record my voice overs for my other questions. Then once i had the memos I uploaded them to my Itunes library and converted them into an MP3 file, this then meant that I could upload it to Movie Maker and use it for the questions.
9) This is an Iphone. It was used to record the behind the scenes footage with and it is simple to use, if you simply push the main button on the front of the phone, swipe up on the right hand side of the screen, the camera will open. After that you just swipe left or right and find the "video" section and therefore can start to record footage.
7.) Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
Here is a video that I have edited using Windows Movie Maker and comparing the techniques and progression between the groups Preliminary Task and the Main Task
